Ferrymead

Ferrymead sits just southeast of Christchurch, the main route out to those eastern sea suburbs like Sumner. You’ve got cliff-top houses and businesses all along the estuary front here. After the 2011 Canterbury earthquake, a bunch of prominent city firms moved out this way, turning Ferrymead into a real secondary business hub. So what used to be just a pass-through is now its own little center.
