Hudson Bay Mountain

This is Hudson Bay Mountain, an ultra prominent peak overlooking Smithers, British Columbia. You might recognize it from the movies *The Grey* or *Eight Below*, which filmed scenes here. The mountain gets its name because it’s near a ranch once owned by the Hudson's Bay Company, over at Driftwood Creek. The Hudson Bay Mountain Resort is here, known for its 8-kilometer Rotary Community Trail to Town that runs right down into Smithers.
